Ryan grew up in Fairlie and Dunedin, he started his training in Upper Hutt in 1998 and in 2001 moved to Christchurch. He developed his skillset working in one of New Zealands largest dental laboratories. He loves working with his hands to create results that bring smiles to his patients.
Outside of work Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. Also he enjoys getting into the hills hunting when time allows.
Ryan has a passion for motorbikes and you will often find him at the Mike Pero Motorsport Park racing his Buell against friends.
Marion immigrated from Germany in 2009, she qualified as a dental technician before she moved to New Zealand, she fell in love with NZ while on a working holiday and returned as soon as she could.
Marion loves the outdoors and foraging on the beaches for stones, shells and drift wood she can use in her artwork. One of her artistic talents is carving Oamaru Stone and incorporating her beach finds into them, you can find some of her artworks on display at the clinic.
Marion and Ryan have two daughters called Linda and Holly.
Hi, my name is Paulette and I have worked at Dentures Plus as Practice Manager since 2000 both for the previous owner and now for Ryan and Marion. I really enjoy the inter-action with all our patients and clients, helping them to regain their smile. In my spare time I love getting outside mountain biking and walking my three small dogs and being busy in the garden.
I completed my Bachelor of Dental Technology with Honours and Diploma of Clinical Dental Technology from the University of Otago. Following my training, I came back to Christchurch (my hometown) and started working at Dentures Plus in 2011.
I enjoy all aspects of removable prosthetics and take pride in providing the best care for all my patients by ensuring they are informed and well involved in the decision making process.
Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with friends, checking out the weekly markets, travelling, and trying my hands at anything.
I started working for Dentures Plus in 1998, my love of handcrafts is what got me into the industry prior to that. Being part of the technical team and creating new smiles for our patients is incredibly rewarding and why I enjoy the job so much.
When we're not working, we have a passion for motorcycle racing and race in a number of track and street races each year including Sound Of Thunder at Ruapuna, Christchurch and The Dubliner Mountain Thunder street race in Methven.
